means n66u price will drop? :)
anw is it still on draft AC standards?

Prices will drop eventually i think and does it matter it's still draft AC? :D

Development of 802.11n began in 2002 and it took seven years to finalise

As for AC, it's going to be in late 2013

Standard finalization is in late 2012, with final 802.11 Working Group approval in late 2013

Fry meaning overheat? and not usable?

I don't think i have heard of these either from ASUS SG or their distributors but i do heard about users having corrupted their ASUS routers firmware easily (i.e flashing open ddwrt/merlin's) and saying that the power led is "slow blink" mode and says it's the routers' issue or overheat :s13:

Hence i have posted the ASUS firmware restoration in my various threads

As for the ASUS USB-AC53, i will try it out (including burn-in) ;)

what i meant is far from firmware issue.

is hardware issue.

unable to power up, wireless not working and etc.
