On Tues I also managed to recontract my 10Mbps at $23.45 plus $10 rebate..... no need to bargain.... CSO at Retention Dept offered when I ask is there any rebate. Later even call me back to say they will backdate to 1st March because I didn't call before the previous contract ended......

(this will be my 3rd year, or 4th.... can't remember...)

Super service.. . thumbs up!
Also managed to recontract my 10mbps plan. Hassle free..

Indeed u received good service, even back-dated for you. Last year that CSO that served me never back-date. No $10 rebate.
This year I will call earlier before my 1-year contract expire.

there's a catch for the the singtel phone line rebate. if you cancel the line at a later stage, be it 1yr or 2 yrs later. or 10-20 yrs later. they will ask you pay back all the rebate which you have enjoy and will come up to a big sum of money for cancellation.

If you look carefully at the bill it did mention that how many rebate u use already.

The CSO says there are no terms and condition for this phone rebate.

Singnet is not giving any good plan for re-contract as my contract also expired in Oct 10. CS called for re-contract but still no good news... ask him about keep current, he said it OK and hanged up.
Seem like they are not interested in keeping existing cutomer.

Keep current means $30+ plus s9 phone line(non-contract price). Beware

I was on 3Mbps for $22.90 for donkey years after my contract expire. I did not check or re-new till today after reading this thread last night.

Called Customer retention and talk nicely to them. Was given 10Mbps at $23.45 for a year's contract with extention warranty on my existing old Prolink Modem for a year.

Also asked for my land line rebate. Was given $10 rebate per month.

All my bills are softcopy I didn't keep but I remember I paid $80 over dollars + GST for 16 mths of $5 monthly rebate I enjoy on my mobile (I didn't renew my mobile contract as i didn't buy any new phone) when I cut the line and port over my number to M1.

Now I sign M1 Fiber and port my Home line over to M1. I'm not sure how much rebate I must Back pay to Singtel.

Yeah, The COS told me that too. There's no Terms and Condition so long you keep the line active. I kana pay already $80 over dollars + GST for 16 mths of $5 monthly rebate I enjoy on my mobile (I didn't renew my mobile contract as i didn't buy any new phone) when I cut the line and port over my number to M1.

Now I sign M1 Fiber and port my Home line over to M1 Free land line. I'm not sure how much rebate I must Back pay to Singtel.

U r talking to the default frontline customer svs ppl - just listen to them nicely then try ask them consult with the customer retentiom department to see if they have a shorter bb contract etc, then they will transfer u over hopefully.

singnet got prolink modem one ah? Tried asking for one cos 2yrs but they don't want to give. Is the landline rebate able to offset part of the $29(?) landline subscription billed every 3 mths?

None.
Since there is no contract on the mobile plan.
