My fibre is still down. Not sure if its due to my router setting. I am using the router that they provided. Under Internet Login Account Settings, the connection type should be PPPoE correct?

It was unknown why certain subscribers are still having a downtime at this point of time. my neighbour was roaring as well. what i did was to simply remove the vlan tagging feature and it works.

if you are using fibre and with a 3rd party router with vlan, then remove it and see if it works..

Corporate customers have the financial means to make Singtel pay for disruption.

Die die Singtel will expedite theirs first.

corporate services do not share the same backbone as the residential services, i'm not surprised that theirs are not affected.

certain business plans are also affected, it depends on what plan you choose i guess.

No dice. Hard reset done but still not working. I am using the router provided by Singtel. Is the connection mode supposed to be Bridging or PPPoE? I think it should be the latter? Anyone using Singtel fibre with the default modem can help confirm?

Hi, my fibre unlimited is back in service this morning.

The connection type is dynamic ip, as confirm by using a 3rd party modem.

If you are using Aztech 7008, it is plug and play.

Hope this help.

SingTel never say what is the cause of this case. Look like something very sensitive and can not let user know.

I thought undersea cables kenna cut again lol. But seems like a problem localised to their data centre instead.

Anyway, my internet is still down despite rebooting my ONT and router multiple times...

MR CEO talking cock again

Singtel said, it was due to the servers failing to issue the DHCP ip Address:vijayadmin:

Maybe you would like to have some tea with the Singtel CEO and ask THEM for further clarification?

Can someone please BAN this dumbass

Probably someone ****ed up and updated beta firmware to sniff user packets without testing properly to core switch.

Hush hush ya know, big brudder is watching you.

Finally got connected after changing some settings. For some reason, my router switched into "Bridging" connection mode during the downtime. It should have been "IPoE".

I'm using Linksys EA9200, connection type is Automatic Configuration - DHCP

Yep, I have just switched to IPoE - DHCP on my router. Its working properly now. Dunnoe why the thing went into bridging mode during the downtime...
