Hello,

I have 2 M1 1Gbps accounts that I want to use at the same time.
1 is my existing one, and the second one belongs to my partner who just moved in.

When I called M1 they said we can use both and that each account is able to use its own 1Gbps bandwidth.

The Optic Fibre terminal is at the back of the kitchen area in the flat, and right now my broadband box is connected like this: OPTIC FIBER ONT -> M1 BOX -> Wall Ethernet Plug. I then have a modem in the living room plugged to a wall Ethernet plug, that from there sends wifi to the flat and is also connected via an electrical plug to the flat's electrical circuit so I can have a connection in the furthest rooms of the flat.

I can see I can use the second Optic Fiber terminal port for the second box, but then how do I share that connection with the house with only 1 data plug in the wall?

Wouldn't then the entire house's electrical circuit limit our usage of the 2 accounts to 1 line? Or is there maybe a bandwidth limit to electrical circuits?

There are 2 pt on the FTP (Fibre Termination Point)
1 TP for 1 account.

Hello,

...

Plug a dual Wan router to the data plug then plug the two connections to the two Wan ports?

you are using home plugs huh?

you can use as many home plugs as you want, but the more you add, the less bandwidth you have, the greater interference you have.

i will suggest you modify the house cabling to including surface trunking of ethernet cables instead.

if not, asus routers can use dual-wan failover feature, but definitely not 2 ISPs in one router.

Power line is best to have only 1 connection, the best is you get a Ethernet cable for the second connection.
