Hi guys I was a previous 4s user and never experience this problems

I don't use a case so when I am charging the phone and using it at the same time I can feel the electric vibration/ tingling feeling when I hold the phone.

It's not a major issue but could it mean there is a leak of electic current that is shocking me?

I feel the quality of phone deprove after 4s

I read other forums it might be an issue if you talk on the phone while charging as you are continually being shocked

There are videos on YouTube showing the voltage leak

Your house electric wire grounding isn't properly done.

Didn't have such problem, but would recommend you to not usethe phone when charging.

next for MBP/MBrP user, use the long extension wire given for the macsafe.. don't use the 3 pin head plug.

I using original cable and is the same socket that charged my iPhone 4S which had no problems like these at all

I am even using the same iPad charger that charged my 4s and now charging the 5s (with the voltage leak problem)

only for connecting sockets that are not earthed properly, but be careful it means that electricity is not secure, try to charge elsewhere if possible

Thanks for the tip!

The best tip of all in this thread is from other poster informing you "Not to use the phone when charging". If you need to use the phone, unplug from the cable if you are charging it.

The least of your concern is getting electrocuted since the max current from the charger is only 2A. (Not true for those with heart problems or with a pace maker)

The bigger risk during the charging process is your battery going bonkers due to a leak or malfunction. Lithium battery are not the most stable kind of battery despite it is largely used in mobile devices. Exposure of lithium to air is quick combustion and may result in explosion. Charging process is not exactly the safest procedure and if due to malfunction of the charger unable to trickle charge during the last mile of the charging process, what potentially may happen is an overcharge and the battery just burn.

You certainly don't want a burning battery next to your lovely face(assuming it's lovely). As you are using the phone, you are discharging and charging at the same time.

You won't get electrocuted from a 5V charger... You need higher voltages. Even if your hand is wet. The charger won't output 2A into your hand. And it takes only 0.06A to kill you.
