O Deer! O Sakura! OSAKA! (Photos intensive)

For our fourth trip to Japan, we based ourselves in Osaka (大阪) and went exploring Hiroshima to see the torii gate on the island of Miyajima, Nara for its thousands of free roaming deers, Kyoto for its many beautiful shrines, Kobe for the friends we know.

We were there from 2-11 April 2014. We planned this trip during that period because we really wanted to see Sakura (cherry blossom) again.

Hope that our photos would interest you to go there. Photos taken with Nikon D800E, D610 and D3200.

Mandarake - I always seek this out to visit.

The famous Glico Running Man sign at Namba, Osaka's most famous entertainment district.

The giant "floating" torii gate of Itsukushima Shrine on the island of Miyajima, Hiroshima.

Nice! I went around the same period as you and was lucky to be still able to catch the Sakura in their full bloom.

Lovely place! I feel that Kansai is better than Tokyo as it is much more diverse.

Nv been to hiroshima. But looking at your photos remind me of my kansai trip.

Same with zhirong, i prefer kansai than tokyo in some aspects.

My wife and I prefer Tokyo because our 1st trip to Japan was to there and it was there and then that we felt like frogs who had just jumped out of the well. We got lost many times during our 1st trip but we loved it because the feeling actually empowered us to seek our destiny. When u feel lost in life, perhaps a visit to Tokyo may help.

We went to Hiroshima mainly to pay our respects to those lives that were lost from the A bomb. It was raining heavily that day, but the somber thought that how many lives were lost, we pushed ourselves to visit the Peace Memorial Park and to show our respect.

Second, I'll like to post a Hokkaido trip report. When I click the "Insert Image" button, I'm prompted to "Please enter the URL of your image". When I checked your pics, I saw that the pics were uploaded mostly from akamaihd.net e.g. https://fbcdn-sphotos-g-a.akamaihd....251_630785150308965_4017129553312983891_o.jpg (example). Where are this pics uploaded from? My photos are now in Dropbox. Do you know whether I can post the photos from Dropbox?

u need to host ur photos on some photo sharing websites such as photobucket or flickr, then link from there
