i think it depends on wat u order at lavarock bah... some items are better than others... one problem they have is they got too many variety... so end up some items are not as nice as others...

if you want the most value for money bang for buck mixed grill, u should go to block 805 hougang. look for 5 star western. i bet you no other western comes close.

last time there is 1 bugger from here said bedok 85 bcm is the best in Singapore.. i goondu take train from pioneer to bedok and ate a very normal bcm.

anyway yeah go for the meats... best is get those on hot plates with gravy... and top up cheese (which comes with bacon bits) for the fries...

can't compare botak with astons (one is a restaurant the other in coffee shops).

Chargrill Bar is a chain of stalls in coffee shops. A western stall, food wise is average. not fantastic

If you are saying coffeeshop / hawker food for western cuisine. Why not try Happy Chef Western Food which is located just next to Hill Street Tai Hwa Pork Noodle (Lavendar)
