Last week bought the sxxxdisk 64gb c10 for my s3. Put in phone then connect to pc.halfway of copying files sudden halt. Then sd card not recognize by phone. Try to format also no use. Put in card reader try to format with pc also failed (exfat, ntfs). Now the card totally cannot use...
I thought card problem. Last night bought another card , try copy file with different pc. Result also same. Now i have 2 unreadable 64gb msd. Anyone experiencing similar situation?

Edit/ omg just saw the other thread that do many problem with these sxxdisk cards. Sianz.... any other brand can intro? Seems only sxxdisk avail at sim lim for 64gb c10.

so your sd cards are totally unsuable now?
Did you try to to get new cards from sandisk since your cards are under warranty? if you get new cards, can you try to format the card using your pc/mac/linux to fat32 or NTFS and use it. Pls share your experience. thanks.

But only sandisk got 64gb c10. Didnt see other brand with same spec.
I'm doing research for this sdxc card format issues. Seems like many compatibility issue of exfat / window / android. Now trying different method to format the card to fat32. Shall update again.

update:
Some S3 having problem dealing with exfat 64gb cards. File corrupt/missing, card not recognized..etc
Tried to format both card back to fat32 fail. Almost use all method i can use online. Some ppl able format back to fat32 using their old phone. Tried few still cannot. Even go out and bought another sdxc card reader to try. Fail fail fail. Give up. Going back 32gb.

so far no luck. looks like your card is really corrupted.
I have tried with Windows 7, ubuntu, mac, almost all the tools on windows. still no luck. sigh! :(

Let me know when you want to get it back.

I found this article detailing the only format utilities that may solve your problem. EaseUS Partition Master

Format a 64GB MicroSDXC card for Android using your PC – for n00bs | Reinvent The Wheel

Please report back if it solves your problem. I am getting a Note 2 this weekend and would interested if you are successful.

Btw, according to some report, class 6 is preferred. Doesn't make sense to me, but please report. Thanks

i have already tried. it didn't work. Looks like the card is really corrupted. I have also tried with minitool, sd formatter, hp tool usb formatter.
But it could be a bad card. Some are ok with that card, some are not. Good luck buddy. Btw, my computers are running windows 7.

can Note II use exFat on 64Gb SDXC? or reformat to FAT32 ?

Hi Guys,

I was reading here and at xda that the SDXC cards need to be formated to FAT32 instead of using the phone to format them to exFat.

These were mainly issues on the S3 - initially they were working fine, but the card gets corrupted / unreadable / damaged after many files were transferred

Wondering if the Note II will have this issue too? Should I reformat mine (awaiting delivery - 64Gb SDHX UHS-1 CLASS 10) to FAT32 or use the Note II to reformat it, or can it be used right out of the box?

Thnx!

Please refer to the previous poster and my reply. The sandisk 64gb class 10 worked "out of box" - meaning no formsting required. I don't think we can make it any clearer.
