Not sure if many of you know, our S7/S7e's exynos processors probably do not have heatpipes as compared to the NA's SD820. Which means LESS HEAT? :s13::s13:

i think that article is a little inaccurate.

the teardown reveals the exynos variant being cooled by heat pipe.

additionally with my own hands on at the store, i played Marvel Contest of Champions and it did get warm but a little bit only......we shall see if this is a good implementation and idea from Samsung.

Heatpipes have been used in mobile phones for quite some time now. Nokia and Sony have added heatpipes into some of their line of mobile phones in the past.

With Samsung implementing heatpipe technology into their mobile phone, it is expected that other competitors may also follow suit.

Thanks for the info!

Hopefully it doesn't throttle as much as compared to the S6!
