Rumoured plastic back.
Not good enough when competitors have all aluminium or glass bodies.

Hoping that rumours are not true and Samsung have something classier than S3 in store.

should say light is good
its whether u want to. hold thr phone and feel good with rounded edge

or a chio heavy phone and use long u feel tired hahaha esp those 5ibch above with glass and metal

so I say samssug is wise to stick yo it
some hate it some love it. with expandable storage and also removrablr battery and a real home button as some still prefer a real button so it wont eat to the screen estate

just pick your choice and pay for it

Not to mention dodging all the whiners complaining that glass backs breaks when it hits the ground. :D

Most people will buy a phone case and cover the back. Even if it is a gold plated back, most people don't get to see it much. :vijayadmin::vijayadmin::vijayadmin:

Even if it is gold-plated, or solid gold for that matter, people will STILL buy a case to protect their precious gold. LOL :s13::s13::s13:

Using plastic helps in bring the cost down so more cost can be allocated to other features.

As what many have pointed out, majority will always have a case covering the phone which makes it redundant to have a better back cover.

I once use plastic polish ( those use to polish car's headlambs) to polish the plastic back cover of my phone. The result is a glossy finish as good as new. So this could be a solution to scratches to plastic back cover.

Actually I think I prefer plastic, light, resistant to scratch, break cheap and easy to replace. Used iPhone 3GS, 4 and 5, and the 3 was still the most durable.
