went through cnet and only manage to find trial ver, anyone able to recommend free keylogger apps.

dos prompt > rename *.bmp *.jpg

If you are using Windows XP and later, the Chinese input is included in the OS. Just add in Chinese (PRC) into the Language, and select "QuanPing" and "ShuangPing" as input. This will enable you to input Chinese. No need additional software.

but the prediction is quite lousy for windows built-in. have to virtually type out the whole pinyin for it to recognise properly.

Cryptainer LE

Cryptainer LE is part of a suite of security products offered by the company that works on Windows. The LE product is their free version which offers some compelling features such as:

Disk encryption for files and folders (Blowfish algorithm)

Creation of secure email attachments

Virtual drive that appears in Windows Explorer

Passwords from 8 to 100 characters

The other item that distinguishes Cryptainer LE is that it has a component that can be loaded on to USB drives called Cryptainer Mobile. This means you can carry your data on the thumb drive without needing a program on the host computer to decrypt. The one caveat is this doesn't work with Windows 98 and Windows ME since those operating systems don't auto load USB drivers.

any freeware to help recover corrupted data fr an ext 3.5 hdd?

eg. the file names has become jibberish and vid files cant b open,even if can open,it only plays for less than 10secs and it stopped

I like to use Ultradefrag as well. for disc burning I use InfraRecorder with a really simple layout. For image editting, I have no idea why GIMP and GIMPhoto would be left out of that list =P

I prefer Format Factory but hamstersoft has an AMAZINGLY easy and neat UI. For changing fileformats to be played on any PMP, I would go for it.

If you need to encrypt files or folders, try TrueCrypt =)

for photoediting i cant live without Paint.net and its plugins. Gimp's interface it's too unfriendly for me

Hi,

I like this post very much, I am interested in enhancing my knowledge related with any technology update, and IT knowledge.

Many freeware like video download, photo editor, are very helpful for you.
