Finally I managed to run Fifa 2012 on 1215B but frankly speaking 50% of the time it's very lag.

I will try to do a video review and upload it by tonight

My 1215B was unable to record any video of me playing FIFA, so I had to revert back to AMD catalyst ver 11.08 before I was able to do any recording...

Anyone who is able to install ver 11.10 without any problems, such as able to view youtube.com successfully.. do let me know...i was having flash video issues on ver 11.10 as well

Asus eee with e450 is out for a while now at least in europe... i have it for a week now.

I to have screen flicker all over the screen if the screen is turned of either by sleep function or by screen time out. This is very annoying so I would like to know if somebody found out a solution for this... :(

Probably could be an outdated ATI profile.

Go to AMD update website and download both the catalyst software suite and the ATI catalyst profile files.

Once done, install the software suite first followed by the profile files...

I think there is a comprehensive guide done by techidiot about 20-30 pages back. Because quite a few users faced this issue as well in the past

An update on Footballer Manager 2012:
I gave it a go last night. It is very playable on 1215B, because it's mostly text.
besides that if you wish to view the video highlight for every match your team played, it's very smooth, because it's just colored stickman running around lolx

Basically HP dm1 with e-450 and Asus 1215B with e-450 are almost similar in terms of performance

The only difference would be how much these companies are gonna "lock-down" the CPU speed...and which companies gives better support

But if you are comparing HP dm1 e-350 with Asus 1215B e-350...
Den definitely Asus 1215B is Better even though both are using the same processor but HP locked down that model more than Asus.
But even so, people went with HP dm1 because it has better n wider viewing angle

But...if we are talking about DM1Z...den definitely will be dm1z, because it comes with 3GB ram instead of the usual 2GB. So, you will definitely get slightly better performance right out of the box.

Not sure if this has been asked but can we overclock the proc in the 1215B using the AMD Overdrive app? If so how do we go about doing this safely?

techidiot... last night I followed the steps you panned out in a separate AMD thread and updated my AMD catalyst package to the latest ver 11.10 but I bump into some issues...

After I restarted my laptop, I realized I can't view any youtube videos... it was just a green screen with audio... so I thought it must be my flash version, so I went to update it to the latest but after restart, it's still the same issue...

Any other thing I need to take note,? Hopefully if this is solved, I will document it in my blog as well ^.^

Maybe due to driver issue, roll back to 11.9 or the driver that
was working.

Not really a problem since most notebooks/netbooks OC
capabilities are lock. So that means even if u try to
up the multiper to certain speed, the change does
not take affect due to BIOS lock.

Nothing u can do about this other than use AMD overdrive
but amd overdrive does not work on ur system.
