Anyone has any ideas? Really eating my data.

To sum it up in simply...

I have 2 iPhones. (1 personal and 1 work phone)
(IPhone 6 and 6 plus to be excact)

Setup both phones to connect to my home broadband but only my iPhone 6+ has better wifi connectivity where else my personal phone is very very slow)
Note: I do not switch on both phones to connect to wifi for a better comparison.

Perhaps it might be Apple's performance throttling affecting your WiFi? Need side by side comparison to have better clarity on your issue.

does your router allow you to see what speed your devices are connected at? that could give you an insight. it could also be an OS rather than hardware issue - try restoring your phone.

Eliminate iOS issue first. Both should be on same iOS version. Reset network settings on both phones.

Note this action will clear all previously Wi-Fi connections

is the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz have separate SSID? if same, it could be the case where 1 is connected to 5Ghz which is faster and another connected to 2.4Ghz which is slower...

iPhone 6 - A8 chip

802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi‑Fi non-MIMO

iPhone 6S - A9 chip

802.11ac Wi‑Fi with MIMO

MIMO is the difference

Maybe is the battery problem on your personal phone? That could be the cause of speed downgrade.

Yeah alot of factors are different.

TS is like comparing an apple to an orange.

If both phones are the same model and OS version, then it is understandable.

iPhone 6 can connect at 433.3 Mbps on 802.11ac. So how slow can it be ?
Maybe TS need to turn off any QoS & 2.4Ghz band in the router and re-rerun the test again.
