btw tested on fujitsu s6520 n it works wonder

I installed this, but there doesn't seem to be any difference. Maybe it's due to my speakers.

Ok, I tested it and it really works. For the past 1 year I had been using Altec Lansing 2.0 speaker with my Realtek audio. For some reason the sound is a bit poor. Either my speaker too good or the sound card not good enough. After installing this driver, I am convinced that it's my sound card (more like driver issue). The sound is so much better with this driver.

did u guys install the X-Fi MB Software??
or u guys just install the Realtek XP X-Fi mod R2.18 32/64bit 16MB ?? if u guys wants the x-fi audio interface, u have to install the software. but i think the sound quality might become worst.. because i'v tried installing it, and it sounds weird. |

can install on any onboard sound that uses realtek hd audio codec correct??
me install liao sound indeed got better but under my device manager looks funny leh  why so many one. lol |

I had installed the Vista on my Vista SP2 with Altec Lansins VS4121BLK 2.1 Speaker. Very distinct improment. Highly recommended. Thanks to the thread starter.
