Hi guys,
Earlier today I used Virtualdub to convert video to image sequence. However, it only outputs every single frame and there is not function to export a certain framerate. I am trying to get a 4fps output from 24fps video. As such Vdub has dumped all the (probably thousands of) images into one folder.
Is it possible using automation via script or command prompt to copy out 1 file every 6 files sequentially? The filenames each have 8 digit with the first 4 being the image # and the last 4 being the output sequence. However, the first 4 digits are not in running sequence.
Example converted filename: MOV_1234 -> 12340001.png, 1234002.png ...
Example file list:
12010001.png ...
12020001.png ...
12050001.png ...
12060001.png ...
This is very important, please help! Your advice is much appreciated! I have access to both Mac and PC so it is possible to use either Windows cmd or OSX Terminal.
Cheerio,
Nicholas
