Xperia Z Crack Screen

I was quite surprised and disappointed with the quality of Xperia Z screen.

The ad shows severe test that the phone go thru for the durability of the phone.

I just place my phone in my front pocket before the movie start and then when i took it out when i am standing.. I see a large crack.. wtf!..

The phone is only 1 week old.. you think they will do 1 for 1 exchange? or maybe repair for free?..

Can someone advise me?

First thing that came to mind was TS should be wearing skinny jeans/extremely tight pants.

It was just a normal jeans.. and not tight.. i was placing the phone on silent mode before the movie starts then i just adjust myself to fix the phone in the pants then when i take out.. wtf..

i am putting mine into my skinny jeans and no issue sitting down ....i think urs must have something hit on it...

Agreed... This is Asahi Dragintrail and Gorilla glass. You can even bend the phone quite a bit without a crack.

It requires strong, focused pressure (like a key wedged just right, very tight, or even a sharp bolt/corner of a chair, etc) to cause enough force to crack it.
