share conso imo no impact

but one of their ppty is going to undergo redevelopement which will result in rental loss.. which means dividend payout is likely to drop

my very noob thinking is 20c price upon conso become $1
a 5% movement will be 95c or $1.05
but at 20c a 5% movement is just 1c which doesnt seem a lot...

so suddenly the likelihood of bigger price fluctuations appear higher after conso  :s22:

Actually it is the opposite.

Right now the price is 20c, so it can move in multiples of 0.5c up and multiples of 0.1c down. That translates to minimum movements of 2.5% and 0.5% respectively. When the price is 100c and the multiple is 0.5c, then the minimum movement is 0.5%. As management explained in their circular, one of the advantages is lower volatility.

From what I understand, they want more investors to put more $$ into this, they want to make it seem like this stock has some value and not some penny stock.

Same dude, different suit.
