What do you all think of Hong Fok? Seems to be undervalued and don't know why there isn't much noise about it in this forum..

1) sometimes the owners do share buyback
2) the owners pay themselves quite a lot
3) not sure when the true value will be unlocked

current price: 90 cents thereabout

NAV sjould be around $2.

huge gap, meaning huge potential to make a huge profit.

but the huge gap also exists for a reason-family biz, they seem to be getting paid quite a lot, biz doesnt seem to be growing/moving to a new phase. thus, investors are not sure when the true value will be unlocked. ie. all these are what Tuckie said and I agre.e

There are some good cheap SGX property stocks right now and they are good value. This is because of the cooling measure, prices came down and you have a golden opportunity to pick them up on the cheap


but REITs are not good value. They are fairly priced. in investment, we dont buy assets at fair price, we buy assets are undervalue. So REITs dont present good value

this family run company had been paying their brothers/sisters (directors) handsomely but pay share holders peanut dividends and had been asking for money (rights issue) a few times.

And there are something moi know but not going to disclose openly.

moi took up their right issue many yrs back and found myself lost more after the right issue.

iirc, that times the share price was S$1.50 or some where near there.
