any one looking at Hyflux?
as many stocks already move up recently but not Hyflux
am believed this stock will come back again like last time.
if price can break up 1.35 with high volumn shd be good time to enter.
vested.

The range is tight, breakout coming soon, if it break north and stay above 1.35 for 2 days or more, it should have more upside potential, and by then, 1.60 being the first target and 1.80 come in second. Good luck...

EDIT: The potential being a water solution company is good in long run, but the profit margin is not as good as other industries.

another company similar business, United Envirotech, cheaper valuations, lower PB ratio.

Fundamentals seems better than Hyflux but it's business is mainly in China, so probably Hyflux deserve higher valuations i guess

hmm if i'm not wrong, hyflux got some problems with margin since their jobs are from govt and thus prone to cost overruns...

cos there are water seminar to be held in expo. usually stock will up as they will pick up businesses during this period.

Fundamentally speaking, Hyflux is a company with great potential.

Sterilization of water to make it drinkable and commercially friendly. A lot of countries have been buying into the technology of Hyflux.

So my question is, why is it still under-performing?

U used the word potential. Price is driven by valuation (historical earnings, assets, debts) which are real things. Potential is simply something in the future that has not happened.

I have not studied Hyflux in a while but i remember the gearing is high.

i remember read some where the cost of desalination of seawater is dropping rapidly thru the years. New technology use to bring the cost down. So hyflux definitely will get affected on earning and competition is heating up.

It's been a long time since Hyflux announced any contracts win... That's why price drop drop drop. Last time giant, now get overtaken by United Envirotech in terms of market capitalisation liao... UE came from 0.10+
