Will this stock be like Starburst? Starburst shot up more than 100% its IPO price so far

i am not suggesting it will double lah, just saying if there is a chance it will perform well in the first month

First month more uncertainty i feel, some people ipo and want to sell off for a quick profit, others accumulating in search for greater growth, some funds also buying n selling...

wait for it to settle first..

The Taper Tantrum killed the rupiah. Before that, SGDIDR was 7000+, it then became the current 9500. Depreciated by over 35%.

Rupiah has been around 9000-9600 when Japfa went IPO, so currency factor should be already priced in..

Yeah.

Just shocking that it's major subsidiary can have its profits plunge by 90%. And this is only shortly after IPO. Makes me question the timing and purpose of the IPO, perhaps to sellout of the business knowing the exceptionally poor results coming

Yeah it was owned by a pte equity firm that specializes in food biz.

KKR also recently sold off their China Modern Dairy stake recently.

When pte equity sells, it means they milked enough lol

Anybody monitoring this counter?
Thinking of entering it at 0.66. Selling it at 1.03
