RE: Man Oriential

Hello, has anyone experienced delay in getting dividends?

I got Mandarin Oriental and the date payable is 10 Oct 2012. but i havent received any dividends yet in my bank acc.

Any idea? or its possible there's delay?

Is your broker standard chartered? If yes, you will receive your dividend after midnight

I bought it on 23rd July, and sold on 14th Sept.

I will still get dividend right?

My broker tell me if in SGD, i ll receive it by tonight, if in USD they ll send a cheque. but when will i receive it? is there such thing?

I rmb they send me a letter asking me to send them back the form if i want it to be paid in SGD, if not default is USD.

So i didnt fill in the form, shld be USD, but i wonder why they need to send cheque instead? cannot bank in to my acc directly?

(ASHR) Mandarin Oriental USD R
(ASIR) Mandarin Oriental USD R1

Apparently I got these 2 issued to me in my SCB account, can help me with:

1) If I want to redeem all my holdings, how ah? Just tell SCB?
2) ASIR is odd lot, right? If I want to apply for excess rights, is it better to buy off market or just ask SCB to apply for me?
