Tuan Sing (hidden gem)

P/B ratio of 0.5.

Won tenders recently.

Healthy cash flow, positive earnings, property company.

Why price so low???

because mgmt not very investor friendly. Until the recent tenders, they didn't do much to reward shareholders despite the divesting some assets.

p/b ratio is only one aspect. put ur money in the best stock, not 2nd best. if there's no one stock that fits all your criteria, don't buy.

This company like small player.... Chiu can only bank on its growth. If its growth is not good, it is better you put in big players like Capitaland

lol, i started this thread on the day before it broke out :p

huat ah!

There is a reason why it's trading at such a low P/B.
It doesn't reward it's shareholders.
Dividends are miserly even when profits are good.
Unless you liquidate the company, you'll not be enjoying any of the NAV.

This is an old story.
Tuan Sing is tightly held by the Liem family.
Minority shareholders are treated like dirt and are at their mercy.
What's the point of having good profits if shareholders don't get to enjoy any of it.
Caveat Emptor.
