I got my mediapad on SITEX last minute for 530!! With HDMI cable, leather case and screen protector!!=


But I don't have a chop on my warranty card, will my warranty be void? only have the receipt.

I got the micro USB cable at Sim Lim at $3.50. I tried plugging in my Sandisk 4GB thumbdrive but it doesn't seem to work.

Anyone got any luck with it? Can teach me?

1. First,u need upgrade toS7-301u V100R001C232B011SP02 version.here the linkhttp://www.huaweidevice.com/worldwide/technicaIndex.do?method=gotoProductSupport&productId=3779&tb=0
2. Extract the download, u will get the dload folder.
3. Put the dload folder into the root of the micro-sd card.
4. dload folder should have update.zip and unlmt.cfg
5. Power-off and then on the mediapad again, it will AUTO update.
6.Remove the card when upgrade finish.If not will continues upgrade!
7.Install HuaweiMediaPadPhone.apk
8.Enjoy,after install u will see phone and Messaging logo

My Build number is S7-301u V100R001C232B011,if I wanted to install Phone.apk, I must upgarde to toS7-301u V100R001C232B011SP02 ? Thanks.

My Build Is S7-303uV100R001C201B027............Still No Root Access & The Phone App Is Installed But I Dont See It?

phiber, how did you get your thumbdrive to work?Did you root your mediapad?

No.. there are some types of OTG cable that work.. and some just done.
I have one that works.. got extra selling at $6 per pc.. or $10 for 2..

I still have "connection error" when i sent out email through singnet since day1. Email just can not send out at all. No problem receiving incoming mail. However no issue with gmail and yahoo mail. Not able to solve this issue till now. Does anyone have this problem? Can share and enlighten?
