Hi all, some qns to ask u guys... It's my 1st time traveling to BKK,so would like to know; 1) where can get to see a lot of accessories for car? 2) heard there is a shop selling bird nest that's worth to try at Chinatown.anyone knows what's the shop name? The shop is located near where? 3) lastly,this could abit off the topic,but would like to know which temple shall I visit to get authentic amulets,statue （佛像 ）from monk in temple to place inside the car? Statue Like those people place on their car dashboard kind. Much thanks in advance and sorry abt my lengthy qns

There are lots of places selling bird's nest. Head for the area around the Chinatown Hotel.

A few more food options for your consideration;

Gedhawa (24 Sukhumvit Soi 35)
Walking distance from BTS Phram Phong station but a good walk down Soi 35. Good Isaan food in a small and cosy restaurant. Service can be slow, so be patient.

Easy to get to. Below Chong Nongsi BTS station. Good and cheap seafood but not great eating environment (I don't mind as I was there for good food). Popular with local and you may have to wait for a table. Both indoor and outdoor seating available. English menu available.

cheapest from them, more expensive inside shopping centre

i actually tried the four seasons at bangkok, siam paragon. tasted really, really normal. not sure if it's the same as london's as i've heard of people raving about the one in london...

MBK have but you can try normal drug stores like Watson.

how about bobae? ramkhamhaeng night market? sampeng lane?
if you can cover the above in three days guess you are not into shopping
sukhumvit area for bar hopping?
dinner at sirocco for the view?
on nut for the good and cheap massage?
thip samai for the pad thai and pulpy orange?
mini van to amphawa/railway market/damnoen saduak floating market?

did you consider a day trip out? ayuthaya, kanchanaburi, or maeklong/ampawa?
i did maeklong/ampawa as a 2d1n thing from my bkk trip with BF in june and it was nice. can post some photos/details if you wanna know more.

Platinium mall fc is ex n not nice. Walk across via the bridge to the opposite. Krung thong plaza. Cheaper local food court. Cheaper by abt $1 per dish. Plus less crowded.

Tried the sabex 2x wanton mee n pork leg. Good but more ex. Lots of msg thatd why u think is nice. Had better pork legs n wanton mee elsewhere near myhotel bangkok city hotel at petchaburi soi 10. There is a nite market lane. Their food is cheaper n better. Wanton mee is open in afternoon to eve only.

You can go to Wat Suthat (วัดสุทัศนเทพวราราม) to buy/rent amulet from the counter.

Quite ex and the food soso as compared to the street food. It's cheap and tasty! Krung Thong not bad.

Opp Krung Thong got afew streetside food selling chicken rice and fish and etc not bad too.

The top floor I think. U can get nice windows view of platinium n diamond plaza at their renovated session. Food in krung thong is better than platinium n cheaper. Street food is of coz cheaper but I eat here as it is cleaner.

Found a old street stall wanton mee along the street next to asia hotel. Walk in abt 1 min u see a 7-11. Than the stall is next to the 7-11. It opwns in the nite so it is a good alternatives for those whu stay near asia hotel.

jiak salt fish , Tom Yam , and others.
