HBO Now & VPN

Hi, i am looking to subscribe to HBO now to watch their movies and tv shows. And also looking to get vpn to get around to the block .

Would like to know how to go about paying the HBO Now subscription pls. Can local credit cards be used or do I need someone with US credit card?

Also which will be the best vpn to get for this?

most VPNs I know will still work with HBO now, for now. As for subscriptions, if you are on the apple camp, you can use a US itune account using US itune topup cards or if not, a US virtual credit card like https://www.usunlocked.com/ might work (but no guarantees).

Sorry to dig up old post, does anyone know how to download HBO now and hulu from play store? I have VPN already but the store doesn't seem to default to US still...

Not all if these Apps are available as it is more restricted to Regions.
If not available, it will not be able to download.
Even u managed to download, it require country or region as this is mandatory.
Apps is direct access via login.
VPN is not applicable in this method.

To access via VPN is via computer internet to that HBO site to login.
U may have misinterpret on the above discussion.
Do note that some of these Content Providers do have restriction on using VPN to access.
I had encountered as it allowed for a while, then prevent moi to continue as i use VPN to Netflix in US region.
Use computer to access.

Just use a vpn to change your location. If that doesn't work for you, register a fresh google account, switch to this new account and see if the app shows up using vpn. If it doesn't then most likely your device isn't supported by the app. Last i checked google store doesn't actively block vpns, so it should work. The tricky part is that Hulu themselves actively block vpn IPs. Please also take note that not all shows are available to stream on the Android version and streaming bitrate is lower as it is design for mobile and tablets.
