If I'm travelling by bus to JB, I've learned that it is best to walk into SG ICA than by travelling by bus (from Yew Tee etc) into the ICA Bldg.

I stay in the North...I will take bus 856 & stop at Woodlands Train Checkpoint (bus stop no. 46069, Woodlands Centre Road). Then I'll walk into SG ICA. After completing ICA, I walked down to the bus stops below to wait for buses to JB.

This way I can avoid jams due to vehicles moving into SG ICA.

I'd an experience of long queues in the morning due to factory buses returning to MY, taking up the lanes.

Today I went over to JB.

My partner dropped me off at Woodlands Train Checkpoint bus stop (bus stop no. 46069, Woodlands Centre Road), at 0815. Walking to SG ICA, I looked down & saw a lot of buses coming into SG ICA - looked like long queues for buses.

At 0833, I was travelling on a bus to JB ICA. At 0838, I was walking out of JB Immigration - 23 minutes in total.

I took the 1530 train back to Woodlands - first time taking this train. I was fortunate I decided on this route - as the train was passing by the Causeway Bridge I noticed the long queues of vehicles.

Did you take 170 across the causeway or S1?

I was wondering if I can still queue for S1 and pay the fare when boarding the bus in the checkpoint.

I think it was 170 - it was a SG public bus anyway.

Yeh think they call themselves causewaybay? lol. The one serving drinks with big jugs. But prob just syrup water.

Thanks! Only ate there once and that's long time back.

I normally go into the streets outside, though the latest was breakfast in the corner joint round the bend from this HK one... I think Garden something or other?

It's raining very heavily so we decided not to venture out, and that's one of the only places opened at 9am. :D

changed IP5 battery there once at KSL, RM90 iirc. Even gave a 6mth warranty. It lasted 2 yrs.
I picked a stall that was polite in answering questions from other customers.
Some other stalls not very friendly. Do ask around for prices.

changed this year at Sim Lim, $30

I went to this shop in front of KSL's movie entrance. I can't find the receipt to let you know the name - if I do drop by KSL on Monday I'll let you know.

I repaired my Note 1 & S3. I think both had issues with the power button. I'd no problem after the repair. They do have after service warranty, I think 6 months.

From JB Sentral to Indah, Fare: RM2.60, travel time abt 20-25minutes.

Take note, it do not stop infront of main Aeon Bus-stop. You either alight when u see Tesco at roadside or alight at Aeon side bus-stop(no shelter).

Now there is better choice but I yet to try, CW 111.

it will stop opposite main Aeon Bus-stop, return to JB Sentral just wait at the bus-stop.

Now seem like no jam from statellite?

Frankly, it is hard to tell. You never know. I went in today, around 7.20am at SG custom, after clearing, got out and then met with a long queue of cars going into JB. Took 40mins to cleared.

Came back reach JB CIQ early 3+pm. Surprise, no jam all the way through and then at causeway, car queue at mid way, reached home around 4.25pm (stay in the east). Saw from live update after I cleared, causeway long queue, was fortunate that we just missed the jam

From: Woodlands Train Checkpoint bus stop (bus stop no. 46069, Woodlands Centre Road)...

Most buses go to Woodlands Station, 1 to Yishun.
