Anyone buy before those laptop brands like jumper and chuwi on AliExpress or taobao? They seem to have good specs for the price but claiming warranty would probably be a pain.

Surbook so cheap? Cheapest Surbook I found are around 349USD. Only the Surbook mini are below 300 USD. My friend bought the Surbook when it was still on indie gogo but now up-lorried

How's it for productivity stuff like office, internet browsing and YouTube?

youtube 1440p no problem. i doubt office needs a good processor. for web browsing i use opera because it is lightweight and use less battery

Depending what you use on MS Office, Excel may require quite a fair bit of processing power. For my work, I use Excel fairly intensively with lots of formulas and large data set. Previously I was using my company laptop that runs a Intel Core i5 or i7 ULV processor and it take a long time for it to complete the calculation. It also chews through the 8GB ram very quickly that I had to upgrade it to 12GB to keep up.

However, if there is no heavy usage, then even the Celeron Silver processor should suffice.

Use Excel but not heavy duty user. Send the market is quite competitive even at this price level. Didn't know about it before.

I'm using the Chuwi Surbook Mini since last year. First batch order from Aliexpress.

Works fine no issues so far, use it as my daily laptop for document processing and abit of simple photoshop.
