Maybnak Premier AUM

Is Maybank particular about AUM? Will they kick you you if fall below AUM?

Thanks.

Maybank Prestige Savings new rates:
Oct/Nov: 1.85%, Dec: 2%
http://www.maybankpremierwealth.com/sg/en/solutions/prestige-savings-account.html

How's the experience with Maybank Premier?

Notice that there's no fall below fee, which is a good thing.

If SCB/HSBC cant match this for last Q of 2018, looks like Maybank is the way to go for next 3 months.

The risk is the exchange rate between SGD/RMB, if SGD becomes stronger and RMB weaker then your return will reduce.

Agreed, return will reduce but should be still greater than sgd FD of 1.98%.
Fyi, RMB 3.6% rate have to do it over the counter based on their in house ex rate which was 5.011 yesterday...

SSB is also 1.98% (-$4 fees to apply/withdraw after 1 year). but complete flexibility...

those already max 100k can apply more from march issue onwards. so the banks need to be more aggressive I think.
