Good idea. Unfortunately with gst and shipping cost the model I want is roughly the same price as what WhyMobile is charging......

Don’t mislead please. You don’t even need AppleCare+ to invoke the so-called international warranty. AppleCare+ will extend your warranty to 2 years including accidental damage.

Whether or not you have AppleCare+, you can still service your iPhone anywhere within warranty period.

My bad .. seems that Apple updated that policy to allow international warranty back in 2017.

Seems that WhyMobile updated their pages .. the HK sets now say have SG Warranty. Says "Apple HongKong iPhone xxxxx (Dual Sim) (New)
(SG Apple Warranty)Non Activated"
