Anyone updated to latest already?
I updated and i think they really improved on the auto focus already.

Anyone can verify?

Yes it does resolve the auto focus issue. U can search for the video link I posted previously. Though u may need to spend some time digging as it could be buried by the many disgruntled spam posts.

When I got mine yesterday, phone was updated immediately during setup. So far I use the camera, no issues on autofocus. Battery drop is quite fast compared to my SD Note 10 plus. Noticed one more thing yesterday during charging is that the phone feels abit warm to the touch. Other than that is quite ok. But thing is, my use is quite simple. I do not game nor run resource intensive apps most of the time.

up to 22% longer battery life of Galaxy S20 Ultra Exynos 990 in 60Hz vs 120Hz display mode.
up to 25% longer battery life of Galaxy S20 Ultra Snapdragon 865 vs Exynos 990 in 60Hz display mode.
up to 27% longer battery life of Galaxy S20 Ultra Snapdragon 865 vs Exynos 990 in 120Hz display mode.

we are more or less aware of the superior chipset of the snapdragon but the exhorbitant price of importing snapdragon sammys is really not worth it unless money is not an issue. selling it here will incur significant loss. will have to wait for prices to come down first before plunging money for a SD set. currently price for a S20 Plus SD set with 128gb storage is $1540. $40 more expensive than a local S20U at outside mobile shops. currently outside mobile shops selling a brand new S20U is $1500.00.

Gsmarena review is out. Battery wise, it's good, not excellent. As long as I can end my day with ample battery left in the tank, it's good enough for me.

Updated to the latest patch. But after taking photo for 3 to 5 mins, my S20u became very hot. For 4x zoom, most chances it uses main 108mp camera. Before the update, it always used 48mp Telephoto Camera.

Anyone has same experience?

The S20U battery really quite bad lol. Display WQHD at 60hz. Got to wait for SD set prices to come down first before switching over to SD set.

hahahaha yeah the battery really bad. hopefully the SD S20U prices come down to reasonable levels sooner so I can quickly switch over.

Maybe you want to define “really bad”. Decent to me is 5hrs. Really bad to me is 3-4hrs. Horrible is even lower.

Use until it depleted then share the result (no point sharing half results to encourage particular troll’s response. Unless that is your intention).

I'm comparing to my SD Note 10 plus, previous Huawei Mate 20 Pro & Mate 30 Pro. No intention to feed the troll but I do find him/her quite entertaining sometimes. For me I'm not bothered about what others say about the things I use.

I have a car which a few friends said is stupid to buy, not worth it, etc. I'm not bothered at all. Important thing is I enjoy it. I did mention I will switch over to the SD S20U once prices drop to reasonable levels BUT if prices remain stiff at a level I find unreasonable, I would still keep the Exynos S20U. Just need to keep a powerbank handy with me thats all. Nothing difficult about it since I carry a bag with me most of the time. Maybe he/she had some bad experiences with exynos sets and encountered poor customer service which they did not feel like mentioning, hence the strong reaction towards Exynos Powered sammys.

To add on, I have taken a few photos with the S20U, pretty good photos even when unedited. Usually I need to edit my photos in lightroom but with the S20U, no editing required.

I'm just saying, you may want to use until it deplete then judge if the battery life is OK for you, and not post it half way where it can be misleading and fuel that no life troll.

Definitely the SD will be better in terms of battery life. Since its on the way already, just switch to SD if you can't stand the local set.

doubt SD S20U will drop , instead will increase .. why?

1. many (reviewers) have step in to raise eyebrows on SD, many is going to sort after it.
2. shortage of it due to factory closed
3. Local mobile shops who brings in export set will tap on these demand and rip off.. unless you can get your friends, or relatives to ship to you.

just look at the ebay prices and you will know.

More likely is exynos version will drop like grapes in resale market. already saw BNIB S20 selling at 900.

just my 2 cents.
