CIMB Revising FastSaver and StarSaver Int Rates

Good things do not last indeed. And my StarSaver interest rate of 0.9% since 2009 is finally coming down hard.

Not from SCB eSaver and probably Maybank iSavvy.:s8:

Before end of each 2 month cycle, when does SCB and Maybank announce the interest rate for the new cycle for eSaver and iSavvy respectively?:s8:

esaver and isavvy promo rates changes every 2 months with different reference month right?

As I said, esaver and isavvy promo are different category, just like HSBC EGA which you are also in it now.
You expect HSBC to give u one month notice of interest drop? :s22: Else u say they no good, didn't give u one month to shop for other accounts? :s13:

Like Fastsaver, esaver and isavvy are plain vanilla saving account. You deposit your fund and wait for interest.
EGA, Multiplier, BonusSaver require you to jump through some hoops to earn interest.

Fastsaver is different from esaver, isavvy lah. Fastsaver no reference month.

u have grouped EGA, Multiplier, BonusSaver together. So u expecting EGA give u one month notice for every interest change? :s13:

I will stop here. It's ok u can't see the difference.

I've already made my point absolutely clear. I did not say I expect HSBC EGA to give one month advance notice. This came from you.

New rates from 15 July was already posted on CIMB website early this week.:) Good that they gave one month advance notice.;)

So far all banks have been giving one month notice on changes to high interest earning account.

Not from SCB eSaver and probably Maybank iSavvy.:s8:

Just to make sure we get the facts right. You posted that all banks have been giving one month notice on changes to high interest earning account to my post on CIMB giving one month advance notice. I disagree since I don't get one month advance notice from SCB for eSaver and Maybank iSavvy. Now you change all banks to different accounts to support your point. :s22: I would see your point if you can substantiate that eSaver and iSavvy are not high interest saving accounts?:s12:
