indeed i m at the bottom tier of SYFE (blue)
Although Lion-Phillip S-REIT ETF (CLR.SI) exp ratio is only at 0.6%, still have to pay fees to trade and exit each time

I m
Extremely grateful with the returns of SYFE Reits+ (100%)although i get in at the beginning of Dec 2020 (i trust sg reits have much recovered in Dec),
my returns as of today is close to 8% (just 1mth+) & we are not even past the mid-week of Jan
i am not into a few basis point difference....0.65% mgt fee by Syfe, just swallow it...
Will get 0.5% SYFE black membership if managed to save more to invest

More considerations though.. there is a difference between Syfe REIT+ and CLR REIT ETF.
Syfe Reit+ is more of a managed portfolio account. Hence investment objective is in the hands of the fund manager. Just recently they have switched from their proprietary strategy to index tracking based on iEdge REITs index.
CLR aka Lion SREIT ETF is a MAS authorized collective investment scheme. There are a lot more restriction for a fund and it has a lot more overhead cost d’or trustee, custodian, tax administrator , listing fee, registrar etc.
And since it is in a trust format, there is a lot more regulatory requirement to meet. MAS rules on top of SGX listing rules.
If an ETF decides to change the index that it is tracking, announcement and shareholders have to be informed.
Of coz if none of these matters to you- Syfe could be a good option since it does not need you to pay brokerage fees and more suitable for monthly rsp. though fsmone allow rsp for CFA - Nikko AXJ Reit etf with 75% Singapore reits.
I always wonder if they really absorb the brokerage and execution fee or they charge it to their final execution price indicated to investors.
Assuming today someone place $10,000,000 with Syfe. SGX clearing and trading fees for REITs alone is 0.04%. if the investor place the investment for a week and withdraw, Syfe need to sell off those holdings and incur another 0.04% That’s 0.08% fee over one week.
Since that client places 10M, Syfe charges him 0.20% a year i.e. 0.003% a week.
0.08%-0.003%= 0.077% which translates to 7,000.
Does Syfe pay this out of their company expense account?
