Interesting. First time, seeing the returns getting lesser than the previous day for Cash+ so guys, we need to manage our expectation a bit.

15 Feb 2021: $35.56/$20.74
16 Feb 2021: $37.47/$23.25
17 Feb 2021: $37.30/$24.21

then % daily increase by endow is better

Worth to put 50k into syfe ma?

Last i read from here the withdrawal may takes up to 48hrs?

If you got nowhere else to put and don’t mind waiting ~5 working days, it is good.

Got someone put 200k into this also.

normal lah. cannot compare with banks deposits. considering normal brokers oso T+2 or T+3 settlements, 2-3 working days is acceptable to me.

It may take longer than that but unlikely to be more than 5 days.

Hard to advise whether worth putting in or not. So far, based on my own experience (check first post), only one day it has given me return that is lesser than the previous day but sample size still very small. But anything can happen (no one expect COVID right?) so there is still risk no matter how low as this is not protected by SDIC thus preservation of capital is not guaranteed.

I notice that syfe doesn’t have independent custodian of our holdings unlike Endownus where it is using UOB Kayhian as custodian. In case endownus goes bankrupt, our holding still safe as it is under UOB Kayhian.

Anyone got concern about that?

yup, guess people are misled by the product calling it cash+ ...

i have tested withdrawal in full. put forth full withdrawal on tues morning, money received in bank account by 5pm thurs. easy , no fuss. there bound to be cut off times, weekends, public hols to take note of. so do it on a mon/ tues mornings, likely will reduce the ??? what happen to my funds kind of situations.

i have also compared the updated market value, to receipt of $, difference is very small.

wht i know is all are custodised but at diff lvls. endowus is an adviser license. they cannot touch clients money directly so they hav to get an extra step to get a broker. syfe and stashaway is CMS license. but they still hav trust accnt at an institutional bank lvl.

wht i think is unfortunately some ppl (not endowus but their fan club) make it until it is a big thing lidat and go say half truths abt other robos.

anyway, big deal got uobkh. u oso cannot directly buy/sell, cannot touch. only can every mth open uobkh statement and feel very rich.:s22:

0 concern!

I hated endowus- the uobkh custodian method!! Hated to the max.....waste of time going thru one more custodian

Endowus - has individual account in uobkh
Syfe/SA - funds kept in a trust/pooled account but they keep a ledger of each individuals share

Will there be a difference if one closes down? Can force you to sell?

Think smartly was the pooled account one and either change to SA or sell

How’s your REITs+ portfolio doing?

Both (100% and ARI) negative returns at the moment. This type of portfolio is more about timing. If you enter at peak then will have higher chance of getting negative returns. Likewise, if you enter at the bottom e.g last year March, you will think this is superb product from Syfe. End of the day, it is all on your hands as it depends on when you invest and how you invest. It is not really actively managed as I believe rebalancing only done twice a year.
