SK jewellery star carat diamond is 50% cheaper than mined diamond

I saw the bronchure by sk jewellery. It says as above.

So a 1 carat mined diamond ring cost 8k and above. The same star carat 1 carat diamond ring cost about 4k.

So like this, how do we prevent ourselves from getting scammed when buying diamond ring as ordinary people can't tell the difference?

Eg. Someone post a advertisement on carousell selling 1 carat diamond ring for 5k. You thought its a good deal, maybe you bring to pawnshop they use diamond tester help you test say its real diamond.

You buy it thinking its a good deal. Its actually a star carat diamond ring from sk jewellery. The person bought at 4k and sell you at 5k.

How to prevent such a situation from happening?

I was wondering how do we differentiate lab grown with natural diamond. Because if you use diamond tester on them, both will ring as they are real diamonds
