Thanks sharing, I read one of the posted during my reading. In fact I don't want to take. As a lot of people told me the same no quality, must well top up some for engage outside and get things I want. For my case, for the moment I am still in oversea, so a bit hard for me ask friend or family to do following up for me, I don't mind treat them chili crab or champagne😜... I just worrying give people kan-tao

I also heard something about hacking walls, then when replacing tiles on the knocked wall. And also there will be a hole on the floor where the wall is suppose to be. It will be verytroublesome if you get OCS tiles cos hard to find the exact tile that hdb used

I think if I asked for remove this OCS, I don't think they allow😭 I add on all, now my hubby said he will knock off the partition wall, so sound like I pay for nothing

Opt for the wall then hacking it?? :s22:

My BTO that wall was no choice since it's part of the plan and the option to have or not have that wall was not out back then..That's why i have to hack it..

Gosh, anyway the 10k sound I gonna pay for nothing 😓 Yes he is going to kill of the one I opt in. Major of man choice is open style. For me, if cooking will oily the living room I scared tho. Again, Singapore tapao and eating outdoor so easily! I also doubt how much cooking I will make then 😉

Initially should have opt out of wall, do tempered glass partition..

That would have save the money for asking HDB to erect that wall and u spend money to hack down that wall.. :s13:

Hahaha ya if doesnt work you can go down face to face. If meet nice officer maybe can. Or u can contact your officer in charge? And i agree with the glass partition. Still look as big as open space, but the oil wont seep into living room. But u and ur other half will cook much anot

Hi future neighbors!

Just went and booked an unit this afternoon, was pretty excited as it is one of the biggest purchase in my life.

I actually went and login to myhdb and saw that everything is updated correctly like which unit I've chosen except the AHG application status. It shows 'You have not submitted any documents for AHG application' even tho I did.

Does anyone experience the same?

Won't be reflected immediately..can take up to 2 weeks to be updated for that(my ahg took 2 weeks)..and about 7 weeks before they approve..

61 is getting picked up recently. It was one of my choices because it provided an unblocked view. If you transpose the vista map in, 61's ciew cuts across the garden of vista and over tothe landed property. Not sure if 63 has this. But cons are beside lift and dam far away (relatively)from the mrt

New here. My queue number is 6xx and my selection is in three weeks time. Paid fengshui master to take a look at the units and he brought up the point that staying near the lift brings positive energy to the house. He actually highly recommended that unit since it has unblocked view and is a good facing direction for the next 20 years. Don't understand why it only got picked up recently. Opp have a supermarket and Coffeeshop and have so big porch right outside the door. Seems like a plus to me. Hopefully the units don't run out before my selection😔

Shared on other thread but tot I can share with fellow peeps here.

For 2 roomers, its better read about the 2 room flexi before getting too excited to purchase it. It's a different concept from the normal 2 room flats.

Basically u don't earn money at all. U pay what u use/live.
Eg. The house u pay 200k for 99 years lease. So let's say u live 5 years u wanna sell. So it's 200k - (200k/99 × 5 years) = That's what u will get back.

Return of short-lease 2-room Flexi flats

A short-lease 2-room Flexi flat cannot be sold in the open market. If you no longer wish to live in it or become ineligible to do so, the flat must be returned to HDB. We will then pay you a pro-rated sum of the original selling price, based on the remaining lease of the flat.

Renting out of short-lease 2-room Flexi flats

You cannot sublet your bedroom or the whole flat.

You got me confuse..

2rm Flexi

Under the 2-room Flexi Scheme, elderly citizens have the flexibility of choosing the length of lease on their 2-room flat, based on their age, needs, and preferences. If you are aged 55 and above, you can take up a lease of between 15 and 45 years in 5-year increments, as long as it covers you and your spouse up to the age of at least 95 years.

First- and second-timer families, as well as first-timer singles, can buy new 2-room flats on a 99-year lease.

So although the whole 2rm is market under 2rm flexi(Which is a general description for it), those 1st timer applicants or rather those aged 55 and below cannot opt for short lease.

The rule you mention might only be applicable for those above 55 years old who opt for short term lease. And still be a normal 99 year lease hdb flat for all other scheme.

*See the paragraph u quoted, it's all on short lease bto which is not the same as 2rm flexi holding on 99 year lease..
