I found MCQ challenging but the essay part very easy.
Same questions came out in the past before, if they did the past 2008-2015 past year papers for ZA/ZB before, they'll confirm do well one.

For this year, Question 2 was like 2009's za question 3.
Got international supplier and local supplier, international supply is perfectly elastic. then fall in rental of local supplier. then asked to draw initial diagram, draw short run long run, then ask about if it will affect other industries.

Then got monopoly calculation also, a super simple calculation. Just require you to have math1 knowledge and draw the simple graph. Free marks one.

Macro got Free Response (close economy), Transfer of Income (i think), and main trading partner. I personally felt the close economy was easy leh. Ask about government wishes to increase expenditure funded by public to increase education level of ppl, then they say assume that the increased education will increase productivity. asked to draw initial, sr without increased in productivity, then lr with increased. then also asked about what would have changed if increase taxes instead of getting funded by public.

was manageable, just that there are 2 questions which I made a mistake, I went back and edit it. This eventually caused me to have a shortage of time

i rmbr for sure i didnt attempt total of 16 marks but there are also a few other little parts, like 3-4 marks each, i didnt manage to attempt cos idk what's the answer. i skipped it first and wanted to attempt after everything but got no time. hais. i was hoping to get a good pass for MM but now i dont even have hope of a pass, sigh

after the paper, i calculated the marks im quite confident of getting, i only can get 25 marks. idk where to dig the other 15 marks..

i guess we cant dwell on it for so long. we've tried. it's time to focus on other remaining mods. jiayou!!

how times have changed, I remember 2 years ago when I was taking intro to econs, here was flooding questions after the exam, now intro to econs paper finish also no one comment.lol

Maybe those students are all too smart and clever already

lol everywhere is little marks but the steps like #@*$&^@#*$&@# a lot.

^ I switched to self study for my final year. Just stop paying SIM and they will kick you. Register as "no institute" during the UOL registration. Not sure what the procedures are if you haven't started the programme.

You took part-time initially? How's the lecture schedule like, evening and weekends?

When you switch over, UOL will have records of you completed some of the modules in their system or you have to submit the grades to them via email?

Part-time lectures are all 7-10pm except for Saturday slots. Standard route requires 12 modules so that's 4 modules per year spread over 3 years. Structure wise no difference from full time students apart from starting slightly later in Year 1. Yeah UOL has records of these since SIM is only an institute that facilitates learning.

Edit: oh I think full time students get extra tutorial lessons for selected modules
