Just to clarify, there is a difference between preferred and priority.

Preferred customers will be affected by the new min comms.
Priority won't be affected.

Scb already discontinued preferred banking some time back.

SCB high account u need to be priority status then can open. I called to check on that yest. Alternative is just open normal USD deposit account with min balance usd1k

This regulat savings plan is a bad idea.. Seems attractive for small purchases caus 1%.. Imagine when over the years you accumulate a substantial position n wanna liquidate.. 1% fees for dbs. 100000 to liquidate will cost you 1000..Can die cock standing man...

Not sure why people uses POSB when maybank kim eng offers a better rate if transaction >=$1000.

This regular saving plan is fixed amt of automated buying every month one right? Regardless market condition they will buy for u. This is very different from ownself buy and click

The kim eng monthly investment plan is also similar. They even offer more Securities in Multiple Markets.

I guess the only good thing about POSB RSP is that selling doesn't incur any fees?

Posb invest saver no selling charges as of now. Using maybank pre funded account is $18 minimum comm when selling.

For me I will use maybank to DCA ES3 because I already have ES3 in scb. So can just transfer to cdp in the future. If use posb, can only buy G3B

If SCB sells Vanguard funds, then actually I don't mind giving SCB some money, but somehow I doubt it. So far only FSM carries Vanguard funds AFAIK....
