I suspect the club wouldn't turn back for PaulP. It'd be one heck of an expensive "loan deal" wouldn't it, with us paying for it instead of receiving it. Imagine all the ABU reporters making fun of the club. Also a bad precedence for young players I think. It should always be - if you choose to leave United, then that's the chapter closed. I don't know how good he has become, but I doubt he has the ability to carry us like EricC or CristianoR once did. That means he's just another good midfielder who can replaced by another good one. With AnderH and MorganS being relatively young, I'd like to think we have a pretty solid midfield, taking into consideration the other young ones waiting to come up. We've glimpses of TimothyFM, and heard raving reviews of AndreasPereira.
I would prefer the club prioritise a 3rd central defender and a 3rd goalkeeper.

I agree with you. This is a dangerous precedent to set.

Might as well give our youngsters another chance.

fully agreed with YY
and its about time we have a solid back line.

instead of every year complaining during the season our lack of strength at the back but come transfer window drool over all the strikers and attacking players

did he exercise the option to extend Valdes already?

i believe we also have 1-2 quality GK in our youth

I think because of his "episode" with Pep in Spain, the possibility is low with Valdes extending his stay.

But I could be wrong. Valdes is a quality keeper in my opinion and should be a good back up to DDG.

Valdes is still a quality keeper when back up is needed... :s12::s12:

When Martial 1st came..most of us "xiang lai eh..wow so expensive ah?!?!"
Same old story, "this lemon barley who sia..."

We want a defender, we have a defender now, song bo. Some more tall tall one to increase our aerial abilities in both defense/offense, song bo.
