I'll be patient then.... have to wait until there's a global rom available for this Mi 5s :)

alternatively ... see how if Mi Note2 comes along

Hmm was thinking of getting the new pixel, then now this comes out with similar specs. Realise that mi5s(not plus) is using the same cam sensor as the pixel, should be good. Only thing is I never use before miui
Yup waiting for 4 October when pixel comes out before making a decision. But I am leaning more to mi5s. But I think high chance the pressure fingerprint reader I gonna be a hindrance to custom rom development. Which is a big minus point for me as I can't stand miui

Not an issue for me though, I've always adapted quickly to different UIs from different brands. As long as software is stable without major bugs, its fine with me. Price/perf more of a deciding factor for me so if the pixel costs too much then, bye bye :s13:

but i don't like the fact that they will open up leh..:s8:

you expereience before where they don't open up to check? i buy screen protector they also open to tell me got alcohol swap inside. :s22:

I bought once only for sensitive items. Had a small battery in a rechargeable pen. Package seemed intact and unopened when it arrived. Don't think they checked despite it being quite a large electronic device. My train of thoughts is phone they probably won't check cause quite obvious it's a phone right? But anything goes for them so must try luck lor

The pixel will most definitely cost more than 5s and 5s+. Probably in the Samsung and iPhone range. The only attractive side of it is the constant updates and aosp firmware
