its true coz he demo to us... one zone set to max... then when u on the other zone from eg 5 to 6 to 7, first zone from P which is max, it start to drop to 9,8,7... ..it balance out the power usage...in case if u use 2 or more.:o..prevent tripping

so now we also confuse...:s11: which is better.. to go with a 2 zone induction hob which the size looks small on the kitchen top or go with the 3 zone one which we also dun will trip or not

Woah where did you go that had demos?

Ya kitchen very small so me and my wife got headache planning fridge stove sink dunno want to put where. Jin sianz.
..was thinking further and came up with this design that won't clash with fengshui..:s34::
2jdrmhj.jpg

..again, light blue ish hood+hob, this length quite long so both sides can have space for food preparation...

..orange part is the sink, which means that the water and drainage pipes will have to be laid all the way there, which should be ok, just that chiu have to pour in hot-water once in a while to flush it... it is placed more on the right-side so that after washing/cutting, food can be transferred over to the hob area easier ...

..red square is the fridge, forming the triangle for the standard cooking work flow...

..sliding/bifold door there to close it + half-height wall with half-height glass panel to see-through from kitchen to living area, or can go without both if chiu r going for the open-concept kitchen ... but with the sink there chiu might want to enclose it better...:s34: ..wait everywhere also wet wet...

..the hob and sink position can also switch, but if like that, then the cooking area will become smaller, also not good...(I estimated to be around 1800 length nia...) :(

..that gap there between the hob and sink ish really annoying ... ...why HDB sabo us and plan until so stupiak???

Parallel will see the kitchen meh?
Your current design will see more of the kitchen right?
Unless u mean to say want to see the glass "feature wall" look into the kitchen... I mean, that door is not big wor if u do parallel, and if u get an opaque door you can't see anything at all lol. But of course design is more "boring" compared to L and U shaped kitchens. But ur latest design just cus of the two "edges" in ur kitchen layout, become very little counters leh :(

My kitchen layout, no other possible layout except parallel, but I get a decent amount of work space for how small it is... I have a clear glass door opening to the kitchen, but my entrance facing the LR area lah.

This one will be clearer I think. Dunno the layout yewtee7 provide can work a not.
..moi not ID, so better to consult yr own ID coz he's pro ..:s34: ..or can also adopt kara zz's idea of just doing a parallel without hacking down the wall (save $$ also...) ..but fengshui will clash as hob and sink facing each other...

...the short length of the wall (2550) cannot accommodate both hob and sink unless chiu use really small ones, and if yr family ish small (2-3 ppl)

..it cannot be opposite side on the longer end (estimated ard 2600) also as the gas and water pipes dunno how to route there without going over the gap in between ... it's a real headache, but in the end as long as you and yr other half happie with the final design can liaoz ... :)
