currently my portfolio is just reits telcos banks only

very focused fire style

if exclude the comfort delgro

its like 50% reits, 30% telcos 20% banks

I do not think that holding a basket of solid properties for long term would be risky... its the same as u buy 5 condo and hold collect rents for many years

I also super focus fire on REITs.....more than 60% portfolio allocation :s12:

But many boats oredi left......

Now the prices are not low enough to add but also not high enough to re-balance :(

Welcome back!

I fully divested SCI after finally making it back to green. Waiting for opportunity and play around volatility to go back in.

Looking at telcos to add now. Also, thanks for heads up (and 3F) on Sabana reit. Might consider holding small portion.

From OCBC Investment research

SEMBCORP INDUSTRIES | BUY

WELL-POSITIONED TO GROW

- Good project pipeline
- Capturing emerging market growth
- Liberalisation of local electricity market

As a leading developer, owner and operator of energy and water assets with strong operational, management and technical capabilities, Sembcorp Industries has grown its operations to 14 countries and looks set to cement its presence in Asia. Though its marine segment is facing headwinds, the longer term outlook for the utilities segment remains positive, and the group is well-positioned to seize emerging market opportunities in its utilities segment. Nearer to home, we will monitor the liberalisation of the retail electricity market, though it is likely that greater impact would be felt by the top 3 gencos (which SCI is not part of). We have updated our SOTP valuation to incorporate our higher FV for the marine division, as well as tweaked our estimates for the utilities segment. As such, our FV for SCI rises to S$3.36. Maintain BUY.
