Anyone matriculating into double major in biological sciences & psychology in NTU? It's going to be so difficult adjusting back to school life after NS :look: Seems like it would be a pretty small cohort size too.

Hey! I was actl accepted into psych x bioscience (initially accepted but ultimately decided to go elsewhere), yeah the particular cohort size won't be big (i.e. bioscience x psych is diff from psych x bioscience too so it's highly specific) but there's a lot of ppl studying the individual courses so you can ask around for those studying individual majors instead? Cuz anw for the bulk you'll be studying the exact same things as bioscience students and mostly similar for the psych students. That's what I did and found a few friends haha.

Need advice

Am looking to enter the cyber security industry and so I applied to NUS info sec and got a place there but now I'm doubting my choices and I'm not sure if I should've applied for com sci instead or perhaps accepted NTU com sci ? By any chance does anyone know if cyber security is a good industry to get into for the future and what are the differences between graduating from com sci in NUS & NTU.
If it helps , I got AAA/A and B for GP & PW

You will almost certainly learn about bidding if you go to any oreintation stuff. If not, google "nus cors" or something. :p

you're better off in the states/europe than singapore if you really want to pursue cyber security as a career. in fact, infosec in nus doesn't really touch a lot on cyber security.

also, you might want to consider switching over from infosec to com sci in your y1s1 of your studies. this is bc you'll most likely be dealing with overlapping cores with com sci(cs1010, cs1231, cs2040) and so you can get a taste of what com sci is really like. if you like those mods, and since com sci then you might want to consider switching over - looking at your rp, it should be relatively easy considering you scored well in those mods as well.

nah, NTU doesnt structure their timetable, they still have a choice during add/drop after stars.

for nus cors, just google it up and watch the video.. it's really simple
