MSM textbooks

To those who have taken MSM, may I ask if the 2 textbooks listed for essential reading are neededto score well? I have not seen any textbooks on sale on carousell, and knowing that MSM is very popular amongst UOL students, its either that: textbooks are not needed to score well, or I am late to the buying party.

how to find out the lecturer for each class?

Either from the lecturers themselves, or from their previous students. Some lecturers will share their timetable, so you can precisely choose that lecture code.

If you've already chosen, try checking your simconnect. Check if your lecturer have uploaded any notes in, open them up and usually you can see your lecturer's name inside. (Usually different lecturers have different notes, and they'll put their name inside their notes).

I feel that the essential readings are not important. MSM is more of practising. Theory wise the subject guide is sufficient too :)

Year 1 modules u don't really need textbook. POA and Econ just need to do more of past years paper questions and better do them early. BMGC can pass if follow lecture note closely but if u want to score, there are some materials available on the VLE.
