Just wondering, with TurboPower™charging, one gets up to 7 hours of power in 15 mins, in this case, is it even faster than the Mate 9? Or which is faster? I think another pointer is that the Mate 9 used a specific charging cable which makes life a little harder when one forget the cable. How about Moto Z2 Play?

I am using the huawei 5A cable to charge my xiaomi phone. Huawei usb c to usb a cable is similar standard cable except it has wider gnd and vcc contact pins at the usb a connector. Also one of the lowest resistance usb c cable for up to 5A current.

Mate 9 can be charged with standard usb c to usb a cable, just will be slower.

So of the 4, I have talked about the most wanted mod which was Moto Mod ™ Hasselblad True Zoom.

The next one in this list of amazing mods of Moto Turbo Power™ Pack, Moto JBL SoundBoost and Insta-Share Projector Moto Mod, it will be Insta-Share Projector Moto Mod.

So why this?

Just last weekend I watched fate of the furious with my friend on my 10" tablet. While the movie was good, we couldn't immerse ourselves in that epic scene where vin diesel alone took out all the other cars. Sharing a 10" screen was an issue for 2 of us, I can't imagine 3 or more!

The Insta-Share Projector Moto Mod which allows up to 70" projection, 50 lumens which is bright enough for most scenarios and 16:9 albeit at a resolution of 480p will provide a much more immersive solution than a 10" screen. The mod also comes with a 1100mah battery (60 mins projection time) and external charging via type C so it can be used for extended hours! Can connect to external speakers for boom boom experience!

Photos videos, really suitable for parties and gatherings!

The resolution of 854x480 for the Moto Insta-Share Projector is quite low and if projected on to a 70" area it would be quite bad.

I would try to watch 720p videos or higher even on my 17" laptop.

Just pop by my office meeting room to see the Epson projector and shock to see only 720p output. In contrast to the humongous office project, the handy moto insta-share projector which weighs in as just 104g and does not require external power really is a fair trade off for the 480p output up to 70" area.

that's why google ara didnt make it to the market.

cos due to module blocks and to accommodate to all user requirement is always a damn hard to process phone. almost equivalent to our pc which we can just plug and play which ever parts we want. still every thing have a limitations to it, beside been compatibility and there is also older generations PCB board or processor cant be use for newer parts and many other issues as well.

although module thing proven to good innovations to many people who loves to get a customization phone. but there is so many drawsback and investment to such moduler phone.

anyway i just want to get this across that for whichever company who came out with moduler phone, i do respect that they do think a lot and well to their loyal customer. but not many people out there are thinking for getting it.

lastly am wondering if iphone come out with moduler phone, will ppl still buy it???

lol iphone X already sooo expensive $1888 their legs already wobbly, where got extra cash to get modular devices knowing apple stuffs are never cheap. the only exception is true loyal base.

actually Moto Z2 Play is a good phone compared to others like oppo vivo imo due to the near stock experience. i don't like bloatwares. that's why i bought a moto g previously and the experience is very good for a phone that doesn't cost an arm or leg.

Modular concept is good, but thing is that ordinary consumers won't prefer such concept and they would very much prefer a normal phone.

Well yes I do agree that most android phone doesn't cost an arm or a leg to get it. (Beside Samsung) but as one said it's fanboy base that ppl wants that particular phone e.g. iPhone.

moto gamepad not bad to satisfy gamers' needs since touch screen can't execute accurate moves~

why are they not bringing all the mods here? i saw the JBL SoundBoost and JBL SoundBoost 2 (new product) in US market, while our region is JBL SoundBoost. not sure what's the difference, maybe some upgrades

Phone's camera has been improved enough to take really good tap-and-capture shot. Think the Hasselblad True Zoom Moto Mod main focus is on ability to provide 10X ZOOM (since it's even mentioned in the name as TRUE ZOOM). Quality wise it should be on par with smartphone camera but the shutter speed might suffer a bit with the F/3.5-6.5 aperture.

After more readings on the mods, here is what I like about these two mods:

Hasselblad True Zoom to shoot 10x optical zoom and this means even the smallest pimple can be captured on your face lol okays, the best advantage is to take clear, detailed pics from far distance without losing resolution. then those sad stories whereby people accidentally fall from hieghts can be saved since they just wanna take one more step closer. With this zoom mod, no need move too near at dangerous platforms. Also super portable when going overseas to take beautiful scenery.

Moto insta-share projector can share photos and videos with friends just by flashing it onto a screen or any flat wall. For lazy people like me, can watch movies while lying on bed comfortably at home! No more tired hand to hold onto phone to watch youtubes on small screen. I wonder what's the resolution and brightness/colors like, are they decent enough?

Talking about 4 Moto Mod ™ Hasselblad True Zoom, Moto Turbo Power™ Pack, Moto JBL SoundBoost and Insta-Share Projector Moto Mod.
I had the chance to try out the mods at Nex Newstead, all the mods seems to be a bit loose, prolonged usage and trying by customers?

Not sure if Motorola improve on that, otherwise it will be flimsy after a while.

Is Moto Mod ™ Hasselblad True Zoom good? Like clear anot? How come loose you mean not secured enough issit

Insta-Share Projector Moto Mod should be quite good? Think I may need to see the actual product itself
