Can I ask a noob question on max 2 ?

If I use a SIM extender, can I do voice calls and data internet surfing on both SIM cards on this phone ?

Or does it have to be either one SIM active on the phone at any one time ?

Thank you in advance
I'm unsure whats a Sim Extender.

But its a dual sim mobile phone, there is a hybrid dual sim card slot with 1 of the slots acting as a micro sd card slot.

You are allowed to chose to make calls or use data separately.

Calls - Choose sim 1 or sim 2 (no option to choose both sims)
Data - Choose sim 1 or sim 2 (no option to choose both sims)

bro. whats so good about lineage rom?

Waiting 72 hours to unlock my new Max 2 bought at $236.90 :D.

It's the most stable and bloat free ROM for Mi Max 2 (Lineage). Android Oreo is also announced so it's a matter of time before it's stable enough to flash.

I just can't get my head around to use MIUI because it's just bloated.

Asus Zenfone 5 Max will not be a typical mid-range device but an upper mid-ranger with great performance. If the price remains affordable and the battery as big as the ones on its predecessors, this device may become a best-buy in its range.

Snapdragon 660

If the battery is 5000mAh, TruSignal & Aqstic audio is good. Good contender over Mi Max 2, heck over Mi Max 3 even. Smaller screen too.

Latest MIUI is pretty good. It's basically down to which interface you prefer and the level of customization available.

It's probably some wakelocks that causes the battery drain. Wakelocks can be monitored and reduced. Flashing a good kernel can help with massive battery drain.

Think I saw some folks mentioned 17hr to 18hr SOT on the Max 2. There are some extreme numbers but it's usually for people that are hardcore.
