Go ahead. Back up your data before doing so!

Note 8 does not support qc
It does support QC.
but does it kill battery life with qc3.0??
as in compare to normal "fastcharge" of 2.0a

Same for me 2.. Wi-Fi does not cut or lose connection now. Yeah..wifi stability has been improved...
For those of you who've updated, may I ask which carrier ah?
I'm still on the March security patch fw. Obtained via the CSC code changing (but have reverted to SG code)
Also, recently I seem to be having issues with using non fast charging power banks. The Note 8 doesn't seem to want to pull enough current. The power bank works fine with my old LG G4, regular charging speeds.
Which code did you change to previously?

I assume is the French firmware with the code changed to XSP?
Mine is still at the RC1 firmware.

I'm using Singtel and hasn't been able to pull the OTA.
Yes, I changed to the French CSC I think. XSP?
doesn't matter which network you are on. if you are not on MM1, STH, SIN or XSP, you won't be able to receive local updates..
Hmmm, I think mine is now on SIN lei. I changed back manually from XSP.

What I did previously was to factory reset > change CSC to XSP > pull the OTA > factory reset > change CSC to SIN.
Can use smart switch pc to download also..
What's the rationale for switching xsp to sin?
