Roulette table was super annoying.

20 indians crowding one table but only 1 playing. Then the one playing put maximum 2 outside bet each time. The chinese hardcore want to play all lan lan must stand.

But i feel not a good place for gambling. The loud music at 360 bar is too distracting. Makes you slighlty off focused.

Go in play play is fine

Food is quite bad compared to RC. Never had a bowl of rice inside that was well cooked. There was once so badly undercooked it was so hard stuck in between my teeth 😂.

Room was nice w/ balcony. Clean & neutral smelling.

Taking lifts can be annoying bcus as you all know, some people dun no what is queue. It applies almost everywhere wher got queue.

Chinese restaurants arw best bcus most are singaporeans.. Very obedient haha

Haha must admit, I never eat any rice onboard. I also dont go to Chinese restaurant coz I feel the set meal is too much for my family (the long queue sux too).

For MDR food, royal carribean confirmed better but for buffet, I like the selection in Genting Dream.

Just came back yesterday, super packed, super crowded. It was difficult to find a table for meal at lido. Obviously they have tighten the slot machines too. The result of free cabins given to existing members who brought more new members to the ship, membership signup counter queue was already very long when I board at 6:30PM. Overall, this is my worse experience on this ship, I think it is going to like this until they stop giving away free cabins.:s39:

Yes Kia, it will be packed as usual. I have 3 free cruises this month and next month. Genting makes the guest sign up for membership or else they have to pay.

I assume they did not close the casino. But nobody can go ashore. Why go near Bintan in the first place. Make no sense.

Honestly, i rather spend $100 to enter MBS or RWS. I really cannot stand the roulette tables on board.

For those playing otheelr table games, think the crowd not too bad but the roulette one was annoying. Each spin max only had $100 in it.. But the people standing to watch got more than 20.. Cant understand zzz

Sailing on 3N Cruise to Penang-Langkawi in September!

1. Anyone can advise if Langkawi is worth it to go down? Where will they stop?
2. How much is the minimum bet for table games at casino?
3. What is the policy for bringing wine on board? is it same as RC 1 bottle per stateroom?
4. Bringing my grandparents on board, will there be priority queue for them at checkin?

Thanks in advance season cruisers :s12::s12::s12:

Cant answer all but

2) Roulette table min is $20. Whether straight up, outside bet etc etc..

4) Only on wheelchair, unfortunately. Small kids, etc still go the normal way

1. Ship should berth alongside Star Cruises Jetty/Terminal or Awana Pier (google this). Nearby is the Awana Langkawi Resort nothing much inside but maybe for coffee or makan. The nearest Place of Interest is the Langkawi Underwater World (Aquarium) and Duty Free Shops or Cenang Beach which is about 1.2km away. Otherwise you can join the Shore Excursion or private hire car/taxi to go to Kuah Town to buy the local products or to other attractions.
