They are all within stone's throw from each other in terms of location

Century Royal is directly connected via the subway underpass .. however, the access route involve some stairs.

My favourite is still Hotel Mystays Sapporo North Station ... rooms r a bit more modern than Century Royal but not directly connected via underpass, and usually cheaper

THank you so much, will check the Hotel Mystays Sapporo North Station you mention. First time plan to go there, don't know which are the hotels that popular among Singaporean.

I think most hotels around Sapporo JR station are ok.

The most basic one I stayed was Toyoko Inn, and the cheapest with smallest room ... but it's still good for a couple night's stay if on budget.

if driving... can choose hotels further away from train stations... usually cheaper and bigger rooms...

I second MyStays. Do note that there are a few MyStays in Sapporo alone though. I stayed at the one called Hotel MyStays Sapporo Station. Not big but comfy and very helpful front desk. Good location also. Hokkaido University just behind and great for scenic walk.

Airbnb cancelled my booking in end July! Now all available hotels in Sapporo all very expensive. 3x above my budget.

Not even 1 listing available in Sapporo for Airbnb. They give me $100 also useless....

Any recommendation now? I should have booked a few extra hotels with free cancellation as standby earlier.... Mistake learned.

What dates are you looking at? I tried Rakuten Travel Japanese site, there’s still rooms for end July by Mystays, Richmond, JR Inn, Keio, ANA Crowne Plaza and many others.

Japanican. Mystays Sapporo Susukino. They still have twin rooms. You need to book two rooms for three of you.

And refrain from using the slang “Jap”. Offensive to the locals.

Yes. Beyond my budget.

Airbnb - $185/night for 3pax
current hotel - $270/night for 2pax
Mystays - $394/night for 2pax -> $788/night for 3 pax (2 rooms)

Bo bian lo, air tickets all already booked liao right, what to do?

Expand your budget a bit lo.

This is why I stick to hotels, despite hearing about how amazing (and more affordable) airbnbs are.

You risk of getting turned away if the hotel realized you didn’t register 3 guests for a 2-pax room.

Jalan.net. Japanese site. There’s still rooms at Tokyu Stay Sapporo and Unwind Hotel & Bar. 3 pax in 1 room.

Alternatively you can book directly at Tokyu Stay Sapporo homepage. Just checked - it’s about ¥72,000 for two nights.
