You need to sideload it or flash to eu rom which has Google services and apps intregated in its rom before the global rom is out.

EU rom is based on official China rom. The best temporary option.

for phone like that dont need save money just buy highest configuration, this is what i learnt during mi max 1.. this phone will last you.

If only storage upgrade like the mi max 2, I'll get the lowest config because microSD card is much cheaper but we can't upgrade ram like storage so I'll usually go for the higher end model.
