I've got the 55" 4X model and am wondering if it will be able to playback Netflix 4K content?
I read that there must be HDCP2.2 but I can't find concrete info whether this model has it.
I just terminated Starhub and am thinking of signing up Netflix.

Anyone with experience can enlighten?
Play Netflix using the seller installed apk, no. If you use Mi Box S, yes. Tested on my 4S.

Just bought a 43 inch 4S 4K model.

Tested the connection speed and saw that there are a lot of spikes (speed dropping to 0 in between), instead of a continuous graph. I am using wireless connection and the router is beside the TV.

Also experiencing video and sound stutters when I perform screencast on my Samsung A8 phone. No issue when I screencast to my LG TV. Playback on phone is ok too.

Is there a problem with my set?

Oh, so must have a Mibox S to stream it. Thanks for the info!
Is the Mibox S a great addition?

Yep. The built in Netflix app on my 4S doesn't work at all. YouTube can only play at 480/720p. In order to get 4k on YouTube and Netflix, I bought the mi box s as recommended by pcuser123 and other bros. Totally worth it IMO.

It is quite normal.. every MiTV set will show same result using their test program..as for the problem in screencast, try using other screencast program to find out,, there are many other type of APKs

Tried to connect my MX3 Airmouse directly via the USB port of MiTV 4S.

The directional buttons can work but not the mouse cursor. Doesn't appear, and if it appears (once in a while), it will automatically move to the top of the screen. Tried pairing the airmouse various times but same results.

Is the MX3 Airmouse not compatible with MiTV? Any other airmouse to recommend?

Try testing it on other device such as PC or TV.. the air mouse could be faulty..

this is one major problem for mx3 airmouse.

you need calibration.

check your manual for the procedures.

unfortunately, mx3 is not a registered trademark and many factories are producing different version of mx3, the calibration procedures are not the same.

you bought the wrong tv.

if you want to play netflix in 1080p or 4k, you need a netflixed certified tv or tv box.

most smart tv from samsung, lg or sony has built-in netflix player.

if you want to keep the tv, buy "mibox s" or "nvidia shield" and connect it to your tv's hdmi.

I have it. HDR don't work with PS4 Pro(Netflix) so don't expect too much from it other than it having 4k. Other than that it's a good 4k TV to have if you use it with the Mi Box S.

is the HDR thing only doesn't work on 43 inch ? or is it applicable for other size as well ?

I'm not too sure about the other models. But in my PS4 Pro, it states HDR supported but when I tried to play Netflix, the entire screen becomes dark and very full. Something is wrong.

I have the same problem but no idea what's wrong with a TV that says it supports HDR.

Anyone else had this issue?

not certified by youtube, so lower resolution.

sideload smartyoutubetv, then you can get 4k

Been looking around and still trying to find out what’s the difference between V4 and 4A, I see the specs are the same and v4 is bezeless. But would want to know in terms of picture quality is there any difference? Or does both use the same panel?

They use the same screen. The difference is in the CPU speed, the GPU. In addition, MiTV4 has a voice recognition system.
